Revenant:
One who returns. One who has crossed over, but is com-pelled to re-visit the past.
These narrative works carry themes of longing and hope. In each picture, colorful pat-terns surround the figures and trail through the atmos-phere, their parts enjoined like sections of DNA. A vestige of life’s code set adrift.
The subjects seek something that was lost or left behind. Their passage of transfor-mation is one of return; per-haps to discover the answer to a mystery, to find closure for an unresolved event or even purely to reestablish a sense of life again – a state of being beyond reach.
