Cypher is an exploration of the theory that for each being there exists a distinct image, an invisible matrix, the es-sence of that being, holding the key to its life’s calling – DR
The works are based on the philosophy that we each pos-sess a design code, a blueprint of ourselves, defining char-acter, physical presence and individual destiny. These pic-tures reveal imaginary sub-jects as they manifest into final template images. Figures emerge from darkness, gal-vanized and bathed in golden light. Jewel-like colors and abstract shapes morph into schematic patterns and hu-man features. Delicate grid work contrasts translucent shading and fluidity, giving a sense of both permanence and transience.
